about: architecture

Architecture has been a significant focus in my entire life. I have a familial link with the construction trade as my grandfather, Benigno J. Nieto , was an highly recognized carpenter and licensed general contractor in my hometown of Long Beach, CA. I carry a strong work ethic and pay a high attention to fine detail.

I entered the profession of architecture as an intern under Mackey Deasy, AIA, a Professional Qualifications Committee Member of the California Architectural Board. I am strongly skilled in both ‘old school’ hand drafting and the ‘new school’ of computer drafting. My goal is to satisfy the client, approval agencies and the surrounding communities with the same high level of ethics, design and safety required in my local environment and jurisdiction.

Since completing my Bachelors of Architecture, California State Polytechnic University and getting my LEED credential (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) I have worked under many great architects and successful, international firms managing design, coordination and construction drawings. I learn by doing — Instrumentum Disciplinae — and have completed many projects, large and small. I am fully qualified to manage and facilitate a project’s creation, development, construction and final evaluation.
